This project was not included in the initial proposal of the program, but after coordination with the Rianxo City Council and the unit, it was decided to carry out this project to replace the “Unifying senses” project. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has warned about the sharp decline in gender equality that has been observed in recent years and that in many places misogyny is almost normalized. Based on this premise, this awareness and dissemination project was carried out around the topic of educating in non-gender violence from childhood, thus including families.

This project was carried out by the Early Care Unit because it sought to protect families, women as the active nucleus of the social fabric and children. It began in October by making contact with the municipality and the unit, agreeing on the project lines and dates. Later, a reaction poster was made consisting of a sensitizing phrase on the subject and children’s drawings that help, as an Augmentative Communication System, to the understanding of it by families and minors with functional diversity.

Within the unit we work with different groups of children from 0 to 6 years old and with their families. The posters were placed in the unit so that other people could see them. This project was implemented in November taking advantage of the week of the 25th.
